One of the prime goals of the Board of Trustees is to protect the interests of all Residents. Our Village cannot allow any redevelopment of corporate campuses without first putting in place the safeguards to protect the quality of life of all Briarcliff Residents. Without these measures in place, we risk severe negative impacts. Last summer’s proposed regulation from the current Board of Trustees had the potential to add more than 700 residential units to the community. Our roads, train station parking and other infrastructure are not equipped to handle 25% population growth. We must also strengthen our municipal construction contracts to ensure a timely and quality completion with minimal disruption to residents. A lack of coordination and oversight has left us all sitting in traffic and dodging cones, literally for years. Contractors must be held accountable to complete all work, including punch list items in a timely manner.
With over 15 years in the construction and real estate industries, I possess the experience and skills to effectively deal with these challenges and move the Village forward in a positive direction.
